‘Dad, tell me you’re going to get well’. The question was more of a plea from my
Daughter. ‘I’m a basket case’ she said. Dutifully I responded ‘I will’. It’s Friday and the decision is cast, we begin the attack next week, with the first chemo scheduled for April 1, no fooling. I have been getting some well wisher cards and today I got my first one dedicated to cancer, from my cousin Jimmy, who now calls himself James but he will always be Jimmy to me.
